Here we see the Lawrence class destroyer USS MacDonough (DD-9) during 1908, a year in which she mainly operated from Florida or with the Atlantic Fleet, as well as visiting St Louis to take part in the city's Centennial Celebration. This picture was taken as sea, so is probably from the first half of the year.
